So, I thought I would do a new series with my favorite quotes from books. I will try not to include spoilers. To start off with I'm doing City of Bones, and I might end up doing this whole series because these books definitely have some funny and lovable moments. So without further ado; my favorite quotes from City of Bones, by Cassandra Clare:
In no particular order:
~ “Don't." Clary raised a warning hand. "I'm not really in the mood right now."
"That's got to be the first time a girl's ever said that to me," Jace mused.”

Review: Unearthly
Unearthly
Cynthia Hand
(Summary form Goodreads.com)
In the beginning, there's a boy standing in the trees . . . .
Clara Gardner has recently learned that she's part angel. Having angel blood run through her veins not only makes her smarter, stronger, and faster than humans (a word, she realizes, that no longer applies to her), but it means she has a purpose, something she was put on this earth to do. Figuring out what that is, though, isn't easy.
Her visions of a raging forest fire and an alluring stranger lead her to a new school in a new town. When she meets Christian, who turns out to be the boy of her dreams (literally), everything seems to fall into place and out of place at the same time. Because there's another guy, Tucker, who appeals to Clara's less angelic side.
As Clara tries to find her way in a world she no longer understands, she encounters unseen dangers and choices she never thought she'd have to make between honesty and deceit, love and duty, good and evil. When the fire from her vision finally ignites, will Clara be ready to face her destiny?
Unearthly is a moving tale of love and fate, and the struggle between following the rules and following your heart.

Series Spotlight: The Mortal Instruments
The Mortal Instruments
Cassandra Clare
Cassandra Clare
| City of Bones , City of Ashes, City of Glass City of Fallen Angels, City of Lost Souls, City of Heavenly Fire |
(Summary from Goodreads.com)
When fifteen-year-old Clary Fray heads out to the Pandemonium Club in New York City, she hardly expects to witness a murder -- much less a murder committed by three teenagers covered with strange tattoos and brandishing bizarre weapons. Then the body disappears into thin air. It's hard to call the police when the murderers are invisible to everyone else and when there is nothing -- not even a smear of blood -- to show that a boy has died. Or was he a boy?
This is Clary's first meeting with the Shadowhunters, warriors dedicated to ridding the earth of demons. It's also her first encounter with Jace, a Shadowhunter who looks a little like an angel and acts a lot like a jerk. Within twenty-four hours Clary is pulled into Jace's world with a vengeance, when her mother disappears and Clary herself is attacked by a demon. But why would demons be interested in ordinary mundanes like Clary and her mother? And how did Clary suddenly get the Sight? The Shadowhunters would like to know. . . .
Exotic and gritty, exhilarating and utterly gripping, Cassandra Clare's ferociously entertaining fantasy takes readers on a wild ride that they will never want to end.
I loved this series!
The sixth and final book, City of Heavenly Fire, comes out in 2014. (Which is way too long to wait if you ask me.) That is why there is a filler in the place of the sixth book on the image.
I only included the summary for the first book because the summaries for the other books contain spoilers.~
