Quote of the Month:
My brother cleared his throat. "I wish she knew that I think she is the most hilarious person on Earth. And that whenever she's not home, I feel like I'm missing my partner in crime."
My throat tightened. Do not cry. Do not cry.
"I wish she knew that she's really Mom's favorite--"
I shook my head here.
"--the princess she always wanted. That Mom used to dress her up like a little doll and parade her around like Mara was her greatest achievement. I wish Mara knew that I never minded, because she's my favorite too.”
-The Evolution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin ( *Tears* This part gets me every time!)
Picture of the Month:
I watched this movie three times this month. Love.

  1. Seems like everyone loves the Mara Dyer series. Not me, which is so sad. I DNFed the second book if you can believe it. And yes! I watched Perks of Being a Wallflower this month. It was so good! Logan Lerman was just so awkward and cute; I can't even ad;lfkjasdfkj. I'm starting school in September so hopefully we can both still blog sometimes :/

-Ariella @ Secrets of Lost Words

    1. Really? Gosh, that's too bad, I really love that series. But I think I can see why someone would DNF it. And PERKS. I was a little iffy about Logan Lerman after the whole Percy Jackson thing, But I am fully on board with him again! Good luck with school!

  2. I need to finally read Under the Never Sky! I loved the Goddess Test series. I actually never finished the last book and need to. School and work suck! I also have to slow things down on the blog because I am just too exhausted every night!

    1. Under the Never Sky was pretty good! As was the last book in the Goddess Test series. And yes. School does suck. Very much.

  3. i'm dying to watch the perks of being a wallflower. but i promised myself that i won't until i read the book... i really gotta read the book SOON.

    -Michelle @ Michelle & Leslie's Book Picks.

    1. You MUST watch it! It is soo good. I actually DNF the book. But watching the movie makes me want to give it a second chance.

  4. Perks of Being a Wallflower just makes my heart so warm, and then it kinda breaks it towards the end. But still, so much love. Super excited that you read Evolution of Mara Dyer <3 That book is so good. I can't believe we have to wait until June for the third book though. I'm going to go insane until then!!

    1. I feel the same! That movie is just soo ugh. THE FEELS! And I LOVED the Mara Dyer books. I CANNOT wait until June!!

  5. I keep thinking about reading the second Mara Dyer book but I didn't really like the first one so I never do. Glad you liked it!

I love The Perks of Being a Wallflower movie! Have you read the book?

    1. Well I have heard people say the second was better than the first. I loved them both, but I think you should try it! And I actually DNF the book, but I LOVED the movie!

  6. I really want to check out Let the Sky Fall and I really have been enjoying the Mara Dyer books :) I can't wait for the 3rd book!

  7. I hope very much that September is a much better month for you! School is just a party pooper to reading. (◡︿◡✿) Oh gosh, I need to read Mara Dyer. Everyone is raving over it and I just want it now. So many reviews has convinced me.(σ≧▽≦)σ And that quote. You are the best at picking quotes. And I'm so happy you enjoyed The Perks of Being a Wallflower movie so much! I think the only thing I loved about it was Patrick. <3 But books always beats movies, right?

Hope you are having an amazing September so far! ^^
